Raul Bali’s Gender Fetish is an intimate exploration of human emotion, manifested through the unique medium of polaroid deterioration and water manipulation. This original artwork, crafted on paper, captures the fleeting nature of desire and the immediate void that often follows.

The piece delves into the realm of dark romance, balancing sexual identity and gender fluidity. Bali’s work stands as an allegory of senses, juxtaposing tenderness with raw emotional extremes. Through its phantasmagoric imagery, Gender Fetish reveals an unexpected beauty that emerges from melancholy.

As part of the ‘Ballad of Sexual Desire’ series, this unique work invites collectors to engage with its layered narrative, offering a profound reflection on vulnerability, courage, and transformation. Its presence in any collection or interior not only enhances the space but challenges the viewer to consider the delicate balance of opposites.
