Raul Bali’s Frontal Body is a unique exploration of the symbiotic dance between desire and emptiness. Crafted through a meticulous process of Polaroid manipulation, this piece employs scratching and acrylic to evoke the fleeting nature of longing and the melancholic beauty that often accompanies it.

This artwork is part of the evocative series “Ballad of Sexual Desire,” which delves into the allegories of senses and feelings. Bali captures the tender darkness of romance with phantasmagoric imagery that both disturbs and enchants, inviting viewers to reflect on the dualities of life.

Within a private collection, Frontal Body stands as a testament to the power of vulnerability and balance. Its compact size and included frame make it a polished addition to intimate interiors, offering a conversation piece that resonates with emotional depth and cultural narrative.
