Andreea Grigoraș’ Golden D transforms an iconic form into a statement of monumental gravitas. Cast in brass, a material synonymous with commemoration and authority, this freestanding sculpture challenges conventional perceptions of intimacy and power.
The piece stands as a testament to the artist’s exploration of the body as a site of cultural and personal tension. By monumentalizing the phallic form, Grigoraș invites a dialogue on the intersections of sexuality, desire, and societal constructs.
In a private collection, Golden D commands attention, inviting both contemplation and conversation. Its presence is both audacious and thought-provoking, making it a distinctive addition to any curated interior.
